New Canteen Automatic Unveiled

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS (7 September, 2012)
Having launched the Canteen Automatic collection earlier in the year, TW Steel is wasting little time in adding to the dynamic collection with the introduction of the new Black Case edition. With its clean, bold good looks, the newest Canteen Automatic timepieces are set to become contemporary oversized classics.
TWA202 (45mm) and TWA203 (50mm) immediately captivate thanks to the two-tone effect of the black dial with light brown colored numbers, indexes and hands. Both editions feature a date with a rapid date adjustment feature. A rich, light brown leather strap with a PVD black coated clasp featuring a hammered pattern in the middle further elevate the masculine appeal of the watches.
Both editions feature an Automatic Miyota 8215 movement housed within an A-grade PVD black coated steel case. As with the earlier Canteen Automatic models, the latest offerings showcase a hammered bezel and a hollowed out TW Steel monogram on the hook. Similarly, both include a TW Steel rotor with Geneva pattern and a hardened mineral crystal on the front and back.
"Once again I'm simply passionate about these watches, not least due to the detailing, as in the hammered bezel and its replication on both the crown cap and clasp, but also here with the coloring," enthused Ton Cobelens, TW Steel's Chief Design Officer.
He continued; "We're continually evolving the appeal of the Canteen Automatics. For the first time we're using light brown colored numbers, indexes and hands and I think this is brilliantly complimented by the matching strap on both the new offerings. The black and light brown combination is an instant classic and undoubtedly very masculine too so I'm confident in their appeal!"
Both TWA202 and TWA203 are 10 ATM water resistant. TWA203 is available with an XL strap also.
